Later this summer I'll be working on a short film in Chicago called Rumination written and directed by KJ Sadural, a recent Columbia film graduate. I'm really looking forward to digging into that story, but more on that project to come. However, among the crew that I have met working on Rumination thus far is Mack Nevills, a Twin Cities native home for the summer. He and several other current Columbia film students, with director Warner Nieborg at the helm, decided to participate in the Minnesota 48 Hour Film Festival this year and I was fortunate to be invited along to act in their film this past Saturday. I have almost no idea how what I've done, but it involved some VERY yellow make-up, a lot of fruit, and a fair amount of laughter. If that isn't enough to convince you to attend the screening (7:00 PM, June 15, Theatres at Mall of America) I don't know what will. But in a last ditch sales pitch, I'll tell you the name: Grape Boy: Fermenting of Justice. Hope to see you there! I told you it was VERY yellow. :)
